I think he felt sorry about not having a plan about how to deal with it. This implies either coercion (he was coerced into it but didn't have a plan because Clinton didn't want one) or a instinctive reaction (he's a bloke, I doubt it was instinctive).

I know what I'll get with Cruz, Kasich, Sanders, and even Trump (which is nothing). I don't know who Hillary Clinton is. I have watched her lie on national television. I have also watched Trump lie, but the difference is, that people believe Hillary Clinton, and she has enough control to do things.

It depends on your definition of "supporter." Is anyone who votes for Donald Trump a supporter? Then in that case, yes, there are millions and millions of Trump supporters who can see through his crap.
