INSIDE gets a double promotion with an unbeaten record, as does Super Smoove with just one loss. Skilled finishes third, and will promote, too. A tie-break tournament between Wenyun, Coronel Gavilan, and skull11244 was needed to determine E's final relegation spot. Coronel Gavilan unfortunately lost both his games, meaning he'll fall to Group F next season.

Well done to Rudolpha026 for winning Group H with only 1 loss! Both Hunta (2nd) and Leinad (3rd) will be joining him in Group F thanks to a double-promotion. 6 additional single promotions are also available, and are listed on the table below. With two players withdrawing from the league, there is no longer any need for relegations, so all players who don't receive a promotion will be still in Group H next season.

Just an update on group D



szwenk won his last game so now he grabs the last promotion slot (and saves huddjy a headache calculating all those 5-wins tie breakers!)

The relegations are also decided: Ink, Courvus and Fleece. This is because the remaining games will have no effect regardless of outcome. (zanbato beat both me and Corvus, and neither of us can get more points than him now)

So group D is unofficially over, thanks to everyone who played. Also on reflection I would like to stay in the league, and I agree that 5 games concurrently is likely the best option.

I was trying to automate the league tables, but I'm having trouble with my Xpath stuff (I think Warlight loads in an odd way, if I find a way to get around it I will let you know. Otherwise would everyone like me to make a googlespread sheet at least for now where you can paste your table and get the table I made above so you can at least check your own groups?)

I'd like to see that Fleece as long as it isn't too time consuming for you.

Group D was impressive are boot wins counted hehehe

Quick update on Group G

graemes got some help from Noobster to lock up the group win and a double promotion. Unambitious defensive play, exemplified by a signature win against AyushtheGreat, was the recipe to six wins. However, the sharks in Group E will not make the same unforced errors next season.

With wins over AI and Noobster, AyushtheGreat has guaranteed 2nd place and a promotion to Group F. Ayush played well against the toughest opponents in the group, but self-admitted concentration errors lead to two losses. These will need to be corrected against stronger opposition next season.

AI is left watching the out-of-town-scoreboard nervously for the duration of the season. Just a single Noobster loss will ensure 3rd place and a promotion but if Noobster is able to run the table on his four remaining games, a 4th place finish awaits AI. Rated 1900 on the 1v1 ladder, it's hard to believe that AI could be left in Group G for another year. However, AI should be confident about his chances. He would be a heavy favourite to promote next year if he is left behind.

Ameter proved to be the best-of-the-rest, putting together 3 wins including a 22-move marathon against 2nd place AyushtheGreat. Regardless of the result against Noobster in the final game, Ameter will return to Group G next year.

Noobster's promotion dreams are still alive, but it will require wins in all four of the remaining games. Greed and impulsiveness cost him a chance at the top 2, exemplified by a misplayed miniature against AyushtheGreat. He needs to tighten up his play in the last four games.

Key victories against Mario95 and Luna will ensure that j willy 47 remains in Group G next season. An attacking player who is unafraid to take chances, j willy will continue to terrify opponents next season. A signature win against Mario95 showed off what j willy is capable of, but several losses this season showed what happens when this strategy backfires.

Mario95 has just two wins in the past two seasons and both have come at the expense of Luna. The good news is that these two are poised to relegate to Group H together. Mario will need a win against Noobster and help to retain his position in Group G.

Luna suffered key losses to Mario95 and j willy 47 and has managed just a 2-12 record in the past two seasons. The outlook is bleak. With relegation likely, Luna will need to elevate his play if he wants to return to Group G.

Hi guys, there has been a slight change to the P/R Guide due to a couple of withdrawals in lower groups. As this only affects Group H, I have put that group in bold, however I decided to post the whole guide as a reminder to everyone given we are near the end of this season.

As there are very few withdrawals/inactive players in the higher groups (A-D) this season, there will be no double-promotions in the higher groups. Where a player has withdrawn, there will be less relegations.

The promotions change each season depending on how many gaps need to be filled and which groups those gaps are in. slejer in Group A may be leaving, and if that happens, there is a good chance I will have to update the P/R Guide again.
