It's easy to blame Obama because the government spys the american people, when the legislation that made this possible was aproved during the Bush administration... We can only blame him for not working to stop this.

Still blaming bush 7 years into Obama's administration? Guess you forgot that the Patriot Act wasn't reauthorized thanks to a Republican Senator from Kentucky.

This is Obama's Department of Justice considering to prosecute Climate Deniers! That has nothing to do with Bush or any law passed by Bush.

This is Obama's FBI asking to spy on high school kids. This has nothing to do with Bush or any law passed by Bush.

This is Obama's Pentagon and Department of Defense spying on US citizens with Drones. This has nothing to do with Bush. If Obama didn't want to promote totalitarian policies he could easily tell the Pentagon to stop the spying...but he wont, because he agrees with it.

Leave the liberal talking points in the trash can. They're passed their expiration date.

Still blaming bush

Always, it was 8 really shitty years lol.

Enven though I think climate deniers are really stupid and could use some incentive to grow up some brains, I don't think Obama nor the departement of justice will actually agree with the prosecution of them... That's pure conspiracy as I see.

About FBI spying High Shcool kids, it has everything to do with Bush lol. He was the one who passed the first mass spy on americans laws. And I don't think the FBI can't spy them already if they want to, just like they could invade iphones if they wanted.

And yea, It's obvious Obama agree with the spying, otherwise he'd be atacking it publicly and not prossecuting whistleblowers to cover up the US spying scandal.

Funny fact, if Obama fought against mass surveillance, we'd see Trump, Cruz and Rubio saying that he's helping terrorists to make attacks in the US.

So was the Carter administration. Should I blame him for the last decade of poor economic growth?

Obviously you didn't read the article, because it was the Attorney General herself (Loretta Lynch) who said that the DoJ in coordination with the FBI had considered prosecuting climate deniers. Its not hocus-pocus coming from some garbage conspiracy theory website...she actually said it in a Senate hearing: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/melanie-hunter/ag-lynch-doj-has-discussed-whether-pursue-legal-action-against-climate.

Dude the Patriot Act wasn't reauthorized thanks to Rand Paul and several others. This story came out after the law was removed, thus Obama is the only one to blame for this new totalitarian spying program. And just because the FBI can already spy on them doesn't mean we should make it legal for them to do so. At least before they could be prosecuted if they were caught doing it...now that its public policy I'm sure they'll have no trouble getting away with it.

Cruz and Rand Paul were the two most vocal Republicans against NSA bulk collection of metadata. Cruz is not the warmongering neoconservative that you would like to believe.

I've read the article about climate changing been prossecuted now.

Loretta Lynch talked about the matter have been discussed, they didn't started to do it. Plus, the justice isn't a puppet to the executive, so unless Obama is a master of deception and control, I doubt he gave the order for this to happen...

The base on which the discussion was made was in comparison to the tobacco industry lies about the existence of health issues created by tobacco use. It's an odd argument, which I don't agree totally with, but it makes it valid under the law. If there haven't been any prossecutions on the tobacco industry, maybe people would still smoke cigarettes today thinking it does good to health.

I don't think it would be that undemocratic to prossecute people because they spread lies about a scientific fact, just like it isn't undemocratic to prossecute people for defamation.

This is very, very dangerous thinking.

Are we going to go back to the times of Galileo, with the Inquisition prosecuting people for thinking the earth is the center of the universe?

Is it a dangerous thinking? We're just talking about prossecuting people who lie about a possible catastrophic event that could destroy our plannet, often it's the same people paid by corporations...

The thing is, climate change has been proven by science. And also, the Inquisition prosecuted people who thought the earth wasn't the center of the universe, not the opposite lol.

Also I assume there will be one for Hilarly and Bernie right?

People can have an opinion, and you should never prosecute them for it. To do so is the beginning of tyranny and the downfall of a free republic.

I never said that Lynch and the DoJ were prosecuting people for being climate deniers, I said they were considering prosecuting climate deniers. The latter in of itself is a dangerous incident and is a form of creeping totalitarianism. Also your idea that the President doesn't have control of the Secretary of a Cabinet Department is laughable. He appointed her and she is thus a servant of his political opinions and desires. You really think if Obama speaks to her on the phone and asks her not to prosecute sanctuary cities for not punishing and deporting illegal immigrants she's gonna say no? Oh please. Obama chose Lynch because she in all likelihood agrees with Obama on a lot of policy questions.

Wow!! This is scary. Statements like this are why anybody with a conservative belief system better vote Cruz and be proud of it. Authoritarianism and totalitarianism are only a president away, and by the sound of people like TeamGuns the new generation is already cozening up to the idea.
