Tonight I got a little box saying that I had broken some kind of rule. I typed "I understand," but truthfully I do not. It doesn't help that I can find no rules posted. Perhaps the owner of the game could offer a link to the rules on the same little window that tells us we've been a bad boy. Unless I know what I've done, it's possible I may do it again. If any list of rules exist, I'd like to see it. If none exists, please post one. Thanks.

Also, if an account of my wrong(s) could be sent to me privately rather than trotted out in front of the community, I'd appreciate that, too. Thanks!

hmmm... I recall seeing a "rules" list at some point but as of now I cannot find it...

the general rules as I understand them are: no cheating/hacking, no profanity, and no excessive "flameing"

I know Fizzer has posted a link to the rules a few times but this is the best I could find.

The rules I copy/pasted that might well be out of date:

1) You shall be respectful to other players at all times.

2) Racial slurs, personal attacks, excessive profanity, or any other offensive language will not be tolerated.

3) You shall not operate more than one WarLight account in a way that gives you an advantage in a game or tournament.

4) You shall not impersonate other people or use anyone else's account without their permission.

Any violation of these rules will result in suspensions or banning

Did you even read it? It contains both a link to the rules and a description of exactly what you did that broke the rules.

If someone breaks the profanity rule in chat, does that automatically mean i'll get the 'I understand' screen or do I have to be reported by a fellow player to get that screen?
