I think wct has entered a trolling stage in his life. All of us who has been here long enough have, I know. I can recall myself, Eklipse, Xapy, and Genghis going through them, to name a few. Unfortunately, Genghis hasn't come out of his yet, but what are ya gonna do?
I'm atheist but do I act like a charecter who could slaughter a entire army , convert matter at will , and raise the dead would be weak? Superman could not defeat Jesus, Jesus could quite literally turn him into sand and the fights over.
This thread is about Jesus vs Superman, and you are seriously going to argue against claims that superman is real, as if this was a real claims? I can believe that he was a Prophet to the Christian people can't I? I don't subscribe to Christianity as my faith nor all its beliefs (i.e. eating meat is what God created creates for), but I can appreciate most of its moral and philosophical premises.
I guess my relationship to Jesus is similar to how Muslims treat him (i.e. he was a real prophet, but not necessarily the Son of God).
Well, depends on what kind of Islam, but mostly he is seen as a greater prophet than Muhammad was - he was blessed by God, and he will come back to the earth, on Judgement Day.
Folk seem to have a myth that Jesus is not important in Islam - he is very important.
And yes, the mainstream theory is that Jesus was real. Those who don't are thought of as crackpots, even by atheists.
