Please vote on new settings for the 2 v 2 ladder. In these settings, each player gets two territories instead of one. Also, the number of wastelands has been reduced from 7 to 5 so that there's more room for the additional starting locations. Further, the gift card has been tweaked so that teams start the game with one instead of receiving one after the first turn.

I think that adding a 2nd territory to each player would increase the possibility of counter-picks.. as it currently stands, counter-picks aren't nearly as useful as they are in say the 1v1 strategic, due to the inability to expand in an unknown location while likewise hindering an opponents obvious bonus choice.

So you can gift away one of your 2 starting spots? That seems really farfetched.

I definitely vote to keep it at one. I think things will be too crowded with 8 total starting spots. I'm not against 2 starting spots each for 2v2 in general, I just think the medium earth map is too small for it to be more fun than the current setup.
