Socialism is not evil. in my opinion no Belief system is purely evil only the outcomes can be. Socialism has some very good ideas just like Republicanism but either one by themselves turns either into a dictatorship ( socialism ) or a dying Democracy where class warfare rains and eventually the crash of the nation happens ( Republicanism )

I actually believe and Athenian-style direct Democracy could work today in many places due to communication improvements, and replace the Republican system. Maybe not America, but in Europe and the like

General I agree with you, a very direct democracy (like in Athens) could work, in a small/local scale, like each city having a kind of council/parliament, but that would mean we need to dismantle every existing nation. This could be implemented in the future who knows.

Cruz, he's the most conservative, and although I like Paul he isn't good enough on foreign policy

Rand Paul: fiscal conservative through and through, and a non-interventionist. He's consistent with his ideology for the most part and is committed to reducing the debt and deficit. His foreign policy is the most conservative of all the candidates and will help us avoid unnecessary foreign policy quagmires. He's also the only one I trust to keep the threat of Big Brother at bay.
