I like the new colours.

... that's all I have to say today.

They're much brighter. I didn't like them at first, probably just because they're new. Still, some of the lighter colors are now harder to distinguish from the neutral white. Maybe add some brightness options?

The colors are brighter in general as they were made to work on a range of monitors and settings as best as can be done and some monitors can't display darker colors properly. If you're having trouble telling any apart from the neutral white it likely means your brightness and/or gamma settings are unnaturally high. Do you know how to adjust them and if you lower them to levels that the colors can easily be told apart from the neutral white does everything else not still look okay (should look better)? Perhaps you have it set real high to see in the dark corners of another game?

For Nvidia drivers which are pretty common if you go into your control panel or right click on your desktop you should see - 'NVIDIA Control Panel'. Under 'Display' on the left go to the 'Adjust desktop color settings' and you can make adjustments there to brightness and gamma. On the latest drivers brightness ranges from 0% to 100% and gamma ranges from 0.50 to 3.00. I know when I play some dark games I crank gamma up to 3.00 to see in all the darker spots to not be at a disadvantage, but for me the best settings are 50% and about 2.00 for most things. If you have ATI or another card type and drivers you should have similar options. If that's not helping maybe check the monitor settings too if you have them.

I'd be a little surprised if everything else looked normal and just Warlight was way too bright. Hope that helped, if it didn't let me know, maybe there is some other solution that can be found.

I liked my dark green

It may not look it, but it's actually the color with the lowest lightness and it's as low as Randy would let me take it to look okay on monitors that can't show darker colors well. Lightness scales from 0 to 255, 128 being center standard lightness (red, orange, blue, green, and some others use 128), and the new dark green is at 64. The old dark green was at 42 and I think was near black on darker monitors.

I lost my color too! and it changed it to yellow, this is some bullshit i demand satisfaction. bring olive green back! lol

Some of the colors in the old set were too similar and the lime & olive green combo was one of the bigger offenders so naturally one of them had to go. Have you considered switching to the new lime or one of the other colors as an appeasable solution?

i switched to lime but its not the same and it doesn't change that im yellow in all my games now.

I realize that current games are not effected by changing your color choice among the new colors and there's no good way around that potential temporary dissatisfaction. As well as the temporary dissatisfaction of having lost your color. That aside, thinking more long term, are you not satisfied with the new colors and how they're all easier to tell apart now?

i never had trouble telling them apart! and all you had to do is click on the country and it tells you who owns it. its a war game and you get rid of olive green and keep lime green im adisappointed that this is turning into a tickle fight game not a war game, yes i am just being an ass for the sake of being a ass right now

I vote we end the need for colors and force users to have a profile picture and have that pic spread across the maps instead! Muhahahahahaha!
