South America, Antarctica, east china, scandinavia, west china, west africa?

Well there's an overly prominent ftb in SEA, so Probably counter/use that with Malaysia, Scand seems good for a safe income but not much expansion choice, and S America and Antartica have some expansion options and a fairly safe place.

Probably:
1. Malaysia
2. Scand.
3. S. America
4. East China
5. Tibet
6. Ant.

(Take into account I'm not really good at 1v1, but trying to improve. Please tell me any flaws! >.<)

EDIT: this sort of shows why it's better to not go 1st move in on the 1st turn. Yes he missed card piece but he had 4 stack advantage going into turn 2.

considering you will have to storm SA from antartica anyways, i think it's better to have antartica, you can keep storming into africa and break it (or finish SA) if he has gone for the combo there.

hedja: yeah i didn't like that outcome much, almost wish i hadn't gotten first action. wonder if 0% SR would have made it worse, better or pretty much the same. anyone has opinions on that btw?

0% SR you have 7 troops there if you moved in first, he hits with 8, 8 kills 5, 7 kills 5, he has 1 more army but you have territory. That can't be right, luck got you so bad though, 3 stack swing in the other way... Can someone else think about the numbers?

If I don't get a foot in SA I have 2 around FTB + safe scan. You were the only person to pick cauc, so assume I get SEA + Echina + scan vs ant, SA, wchina (the most likely from what everyone said) I can clear wchina before he gets SA, so i end up with asia and scan and he has samerica with worse expansion in the long term no?

you're assuming you'll be able to wipe your opponent's counter from Asia while having only Scandinavia (without any decent expansion possibilities) and 2 picks in SEA? While they have a combo in SA providing sustainable income and minimum expansion, i don't think you would manage to pull off a wipe out from asia. Unless you managed to actually get SEA without being countered. I don't think that's very likely to happen against a skilled player.

@hedja, if your opponent full deploys to Tibet and takes Argentina with 3v2s from both Siple and Brazil, I don't see how you ever clear Asia.
