10 and 0! Very impressive - the #1 spot is well deserved, congrats! But will it last? You're bound to lose eventually.. I'm curious who will be the first one to take you down... :)

I'm pretty sure Teddy's the best player here.

I'd like another shot at taking him down :). I screwed up royally on that one turn and it cost me that game. I think had I played that correctly I could have (would have?) won. Teddy played very well; this was the first loss I've had on the ladder where I simply feel like I was outplayed...the other two losses were effectively over on turn 1 or 2, but this one was basically an even fight until the blunder I made. I'd like a shot at redemption. Anyway you can "rig" the ladder pairings a bit, Fizzer? Hmm?

I think I am one of the best players here, but I don't know who is the true best or if it's even possible to determine that. I'd like to think that when I'm on top of my game I can't be beaten, but I've been playing pretty badly lately so... Maybe the ladder will help in determining a true ranking, but there is always some variance there. I think the round robin tournaments are a good indicator as well, but again there is variance there as well. There are certain players who always give me problems when we play, and Teddy is one of them. I think our lifetime record is fairly even...I might be up one on him, but none of them are ever easy or comfortable games. There are a lot of rock-paper-scissors matches and playstyle clashes. Certain players who I have issues beating will losing consistently to other players who I have no problem beating, and vice versa, which makes it difficult to peg a true "best player".

All I know is that I've lost 2 in a row and I'm very likely going to lose another to Doushibag, so I'm tanking pretty hard after my hot start. I don't think Doushibag has lost yet in the ladder either. He and Teddy need to be paired up next so at least one of these unbeaten can be taken off their pedestal.
