This is a new idea for a card that I wanted to put out to see what people think before I put it on UserVoice.

The card called the UAV card would be a type of Spy card where you get a fly-by of some linear vector in the game of your choosing. It would only be a straight line and you could have one fly by through a map. For instance, say you're in Central Russia and you want to know what is happening in America, Africa, Mid-East, and Asia. You would use the UAV to look at a slice of through the fog (not bounded by territory). That would mean you could place two points on the map and and the UAV would show you that strip (size of the strip customized by the game creator). This would be neat in big maps like Quad Earth, Asia, Poland, Big USA.

Let me know what you guys think and I'll post it on UserVoice.

I think it would be nifty, but I wonder if it might be pretty labor intensive for Randy to code that..

Yeah, considering you are able to choose any spot on the map, you would think that in the map area there are coordinates that you can use for the spots, but it would be a hard one to do. I really like the idea so I hope it pulls through.

Or it could work like in multi-attack for a given number of connected territories. That seems much easier.

for most ideas like this, i foresee it working via multi-attack *same idea as for the paradrop, limited to say 5 moves?* which wouldn't exactly be accurate, and could see the nightmare of trying to make it work by real locations.. but it could be interesting
