Say I have 2 diplo cards and I intend on using them both on one player and I'm trying to get them to last 4 turns (assuming each card lasts 2 turns). If I activate both on the same turn, would we only have 2 turns of peace, or 4? Or, would I need to activate one now, and then wait till another turn to activate the other one?

no, if you play 2 diplocards of 2 turns you still have 2 turns of peace, guessing that its the same for spy cards (when you use multiple on person) etc, so the best thing you can do is play one now and play the other the turn before it runs out
