Just played this three person free for all set up by William Wallace - https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=9152021

Despite settings saying it was no luck move cycle I was constantly second order. The other player and I were constantly talking about the generally strangeness of the game but the game creator (William Wallace) never once responded. I wrote in English and German (he is located in Germany). The other settings seems odd as well.

Any thoughts on this game or experiences of playing with William Wallace?

in a 3-player game, in no luck cycle, the 2nd player must always be the 2nd player. this is normal.

what changes is the position of the 1st and the 3rd. it goes like this (A, B, C: players):

ABC - CBA - ABC - CBA...

it must go like this, because the no luck cycle can only reverse the players' positions, and for the 2nd player, there's noone else to be reversed with.

it'd be the same in a 5FFA (for the player in the 3rd position), in a 7FFA (4th position), and so forth...

William Wallace can't do anything about it.

so I guess you were expecting that "cyclic" meant something like this:

ABC - BCA - CAB - ABC - ...

actually this one makes more sense with the label presently in use. maybe we should ask for a change in the naming, and also request a new move order scheme that'd really be "cyclic" as above.

Yeah, it's a creepy setting. Many wastelands and very low offensive kill rate - you can't play it well unless you're used to it!
