On the more recent topic, guns are not the problem in shootings, it's who has the gun. If someone is insane, no gun for them. If they have killed someone and they couldn't lawfully use the 'Self Defense' or 'Defense of another Human Being', they shouldn't get to have a gun.

To only give the Cops, Military, and the Government guns is a horrible idea, the 2nd amendment is fine, it's just the crazy ass holes who get their hands on a gun.
