No they weren't, because they were not focused on killing the populations of certain ethnic groups or countries. The raided wherever they felt like, and where they thought it would be strategic to grow. Sure, they raided a lot of places focused on Christianity, e.g. Isle of Iona, but they weren't focused on killing Christianity.
