A German court recently found Oskar Groening, the "Book-keeper of Auschwitz" guilty of aiding mass murder. They've given him 4 years in prison.http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/07/german-court-finds-bookkeeper-auschwitz-guilty-150715101809671.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3161043/71-years-helped-Nazis-kill-300-000-Jews-bookkeeper-Auschwitz-finally-faces-justice-German-court-delivers-verdict-om-Oskar-Groening-morning.html
What does everyone think about this? Personally, while I don't object to punishing Nazis by any means, I think this case is a little unnecessary. In my opinion putting a 94 year-old person on trial for a crime committed over half a century ago seems like a waste of time and resources.
