I like the visuals a lot in this map. The ships and planes are a nice touch; the map is well-drawn; it's generally clear which territories belong to a particular bonus.
I don't like how some connections are visually confusing. For instance, it looks like Vestlandet should connect to Central Scotland, but it actually connects to Northern Scotland. Sardinia connects to Provence, but why isn't that indicated visually?
There are many missing links. Examples: Central Greece-Aegean Islands, Krasnodar-Stalingrad, Staraya Russa-Ryazan, and Banat-Pleven.
The bonuses don't seem well balanced. The territory of Stalingrad alone nets 6 armies, which is the same as all of Poland which has nine territories.

A nonsensical fantasy romp through WWII's European Theatre designed by a presumed madman, or perhaps a cartographer for whom logic is a foreign affair. Bogus bonuses include Italy's 15 territories yielding 14 armies while Spain's 16 territories yield only 9. The worst, though, is the 39 (!) discrete units composing the Soviet Union for a measly bonus of 22, with Stalingrad, one of those territories, worth a paradoxical 6 armies. If you find any of this the least bit confusing please consult another map.

It is a good map but some territories that are connected in the real-life europe, there are unconnected by the same way some territories that would be connected are unconnected, however I enjoyed this map's graphics. They are adequate for a WWII-map

Not my favourite map, but for once this is really a nice change for once, with all the europe maps! It has some good spots, bad spots, and really surprising when you are used to "Rise of Rome" or "Europe big".
Would love if people would create more with this map cause I have been seeing far too much "Rise of Rome" in the last weeks ( or I am blacklisted by to many game creators ;) ).
It has no buggs, as far as I can tell, and is fun with different distribution mode ( random or manual, wastelands... )
In my view not so great for FFA, especially when booted players turn into AI.
Nice bottlenecks and mean cities ( Berlin, London, Stalingrad)

This is hands down the worst map I have ever played on in my five years on Warlight.net. First, many territories that appear adjacent on the map actually connect with one another (e.g. Krasnodar does not connect with Stalingrad). Second, neither the bonuses nor the megabonuses make sense. The megabonus "Allies" is not positionally sound because it includes Gibraltar, which is unreachable from any of the other adjacent territories in the bonus. Furthermore, save for the Stalingrad bonus, there are no small bonuses within the USSR megabonus, which makes building a position within Russia impossible. It also makes no sense to have both a "Soviet Union" bonus and a "USSR" bonus. The "Axis" bonus is also historically inaccurate because it does not include many countries that were part of the Axis. In sum this is a truly terrible map. I have never before felt motivated to make a review of a map, but this one was so truly awful that I felt obligated to do so.

To many missing links between territories. And there's a link between Cote d Azur and Sardinie, which is not plotted on the map.

An enjoyable map, could use some tweaking to make it more balanced. The USSR, for eample is a huge area to hold before getting a bonus, splitting it into several smaller bonues would be more fair. Also, Central Greece does not connect to Aegean Isalnds, despite sharing a border. Also, Sub Carpathian does not connect to Opolskie, although it does connect the other way?

§ My opinion about the “The Dark Hours” map: It's a good map to play, but it as the error of the geographics spaces of "Staraya Russa" and "Ryazan" aren't connected but are literally adjacent to each other in the map ( if it has others, then, I didn't find it).
§ My review about it map: It could/can be better if it have/has more bonus (like GrumpySpyGuy did in France whit this map (separated it two)) like ad a bonus in Scotland; Estonia; Lithuania; Ukraine and Denmark, separate Türkiye (Turkey (in the case of it map)), Italy and Spain. Also, “South East” (in England) should be conect to “Normadie”, across the sea, (for historical reasons).

Great overall, it just needs more clear indications of which territories connect. Several territories connect over sea without indication, while other territories touch each other, but you cannot travel between them. But the map still plays very well. It was just frustrating seeing Sardinia captured from Provence when no connection was shown, and then building troops to defend from some territories, only to learn later they "didn't connect."

Literally zero challenge at all. Your side is overpowered from the start and only given more. 80 troops vs 1000 is just tedious until the game ends 80 vs 100 would at least make the map a little more fair and balanced and probably more fun.
