Really, really good map. Only one flaw that I could see which is amazing for such a huge map - Great Bear Lake East and Great Bear Lake West, in Canada, do not connect when they border. 5/5 though, becuase it is a really detailed and accurate map and even though it is large, meaning I also had some lag, it was well worth it.

Good map. It is very detailed and I like that there are a lot of islands, which makes a game more exciting, unlike on some maps when you can pass from one to another continent in a single turn. The bad thing is, it makes my computer lag (map is big, computer is very slow, what can you do about it? :)), territories on some spots are very crowded and the map looks a bit messy. However, good job. 4/5

Hi everyone !
I love this map, it's huge, balanced, acurate and fun to play on. It's perfect for the long multi-days games I enjoy.
I've tried several ways to play : FFAing without diplo tends to be really had there, this map is more fit for team games or scenarios.
Airlift cards tend to be a necesity quite quickly, a gift card is also quite usefull if starting positions are random, diplomacy helps and this map is the realm of the surveillance card with its huge continental bonuses. Reinforcements can be scaled up to the size of the map or not. Unscaled reinforcements will prove a big advantage in the early game whereas scaled (% of territories owned or number of turns passed) tend to provide a balanced kick between power players and a very helpfull addition to small ones.
If you start a game, please do it with low neutrals (1, or best, 0), as even at the normal 2 neutrals/territory it is really bothersome.
I dicovered perhaps the only bug left in the map : a link between Kemerovo and Tuva.

A few missing connections but the sheer size of this map makes those redeemable, plus expansion space to prevent cramping and early fighting. Only downside is the long dreary fights to the end, but the action-fighting before a clear winner makes this map great fun to play on, 3v3 to 12v12.

To be honest,I personally don't really like this map.It actually plays pretty well and is huge,which I like,but it loses me in a couple of areas.
It has multple territory bonuses:Most people may find it as an advantage,however,as an almost exclusive diplo player,I would rather it have less territories and a bonus for every one.(sometimes too many territories can be annoying)
I find the fact that this map is made to look like a globe obnoxious and terrible to look at.Many may say otherwise,but aesthetic is a very important part of a map,and I just don't like seeing north america and asia so deformed.
These don't necessarily make the map awful,and from the rating it seems most players don't have those problems

The Western Australia superbonus requires you to pass through some irrelevant territories. This is a bit odd, given the other superbonuses on the map.
But more importantly there's a missing connection: between Northern Kimberley and Eastern Kimberley.
This is a huge map and it has a huge potential for big team games. Neat work.
