I do love this map. Things tend to snowball quickly, but it is still lots of fun. The ports are unique and contribute greatly to gameplay. Users should be careful - not of missing connections - but of unexpected connections. A great number of territories connect to others but are not adjacent to them, particularly in the south central area.

I love this map but there are a few places where countries that do not appear to touch can attack each other (for example in the 15 bonus Guerrero area - Ometepec can attack Olinala). Other than a few of these - fun to play.

What would otherwise be a really good map is held back by a couple dozen connecting territories in the interior that don't make a physical connection. The port territories do make the game very interesting, however.

Whew, really large and detailed map. Excellent, I would say, providing a good challenge at the beginning and only marginally worse at midgame. The bonuses could be slightly lower, though, increasing the difficulty somewhat.
