I would have given it one star but it is not too hard to beat over time, but I give up on the gold star.
I busted bonuses and got up to 100 armies per turn by turn 19. I spent 6 turns creating huge stacks around the board to prepare for the clones and tried several times to emergency block the big guy but he never cornered himself and when I guessed where he might go next...guess what...he never did and I wasted armies.
Then the clones came; and somehow one landed a clone on my 170 stack and just wiped me out and took the space with no damage, more lost units for nothing. But worse...the 80s clones came and "randomly" took out 4 bonuses. I now get only 50 units a turn and have to beat 6 more bosses with 9 turns to go on 50 units a turn. Screw this. Gold stars should be won on skill, not lost on bad luck.

Don't listen to the haters saying to reduce the island connections. The island connections are awesome.
I've never understand why so many maps have so few water connections. Do you understand how water works? You get in a boat from the land starting location and ride to your land destination. No need to stop at the first island on the way.

Well 2 years and hundreds of play throughs and I still can't beat this map. My biggest issue is that the only way to win is luck based. you have to get the bosses to move a certain direction and pray they attack an emergency blockade. the map itself has weird bonuses. the numbers compared to territories dont make sense.

Nice map but giving it 1 star because whoever created "Is This Sparta" gave the 2 opponents a 400% + advantage from the start. There is something called a challenge, and then there is a fools indeavor.
