Description

A basic fractical made from hexagonal connections.
The center links each section of the map. Holding it gives a huge strategic advantage, but you lose 20 armies each turn as payment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: make sure that booted and surrendered players turn to AIs for this map! Otherwise, the quitting player's neighbor will be almost guaranteed to win.

Recent updates:
-Changed the bonus of the center from +30 to -20 to make it more balanced.
-Rearranged the map so that less zooming is needed.
-Added several new distribution modes

It looks nice and it's a good idea, but it's too easy once you've covered one corner, and winning then takes too long.

Just another "race to the center map" with default bonuses. Some potential to make it playable by adjusting bonues values.

I noticed that in my first 6-player game on it. I immediately changed the center bonus from 30 to -20, but it takes a little while for map changes to take place. It should be more balanced now.

It's an attractive and well-laid out map, but its fatal flaw is the lack of connections between the fractals. Essentially, any game on this board boils down to defending a single chokepoint.

It's kind of a tedious map, but it was fun enough for me to play more than once. I don't particularly like having only one route (through the central territory) to access the other wings, but it fits well with the theme here.

I played this once as free for all with random spawns, and once as a 2v2v2 with everyone starting in their own wing. It makes team play a bit hard with the central territory thing. I think it's best if you and your partner are positioned so that you can both access an enemy in an adjacent wing without going through the center. That way you can both easily attack someone without getting in each other's way.

This map is pretty fun at the beginning, but it gets really tedious as the game goes on. I suppose that's to be expected with a fractal-based map. Great for the novelty of one playthrough, but not really my thing overall.

I like the spread of the map, but it's a very tedious process to blossom out and in. It's fun though. The -20 block in the center leads to some interesting gameplay if you're locked out of one side or another.

I'd have enjoyed this map more if the fractal recursed one layer less deep, I think. The last layer of recursion was where most of the tedium lay.

I love this map, it is awesome. It has plenty of choke points, and enough territories you can only acces by looping trough a territory you own, so also suitable for Multi attack
