No. this isn't a typo. Hawke is a CO in the second and third game. (He's named Maverick in the European version of the games)
Another map, based this time on Advance Wars 2 : Black Hole Rising (2003).
A mix-up from my previous 2 maps. While your HQ is needed for some bonuses, it isn't needed for all of them. The corner of the bonus square still tells if it is locked to a HQ, and to which HQ it is linked to.
It is possible to remove the HQ mechanic entirely by editing the bonuses. Here's a basic template to save you from overwriting those 50 bonuses : https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?TemplateID=1420024
The default distribution has 4 territories per player. There's a manual distribution variant for team matches too.
Map has good graphics and the connections are easy to understand. Map is best suited for 1v1 games, because a lot of bonuses require one of two HQ territories. Overall, bonus values are well balanced and apart from HQs there are no other overpowered areas on the map.
Fun, nice use of airports. One thing I don't understand is the blockage between Road L18 & Plains L17. There must be a reason for it, but if it's unforeseeable wouldn't it be helpful to indicate it on the map with some kind of barrier?
