Another inventive map style. One thing that doesn't sit very well with me is that while blue bonuses reward odd numbers of territories all but one of them have an even number of territories in total; so in those cases you can't take total control of them without getting a negative income. That's most likely by design, but it still feels weird while playing.

On a more minor note, Lupane-Nkai connects to Insiza, which it should be doing.

I know there's small issues with the strategy but due to the nature of INSS maps, things like that would take hours to correct and I don't have the patience.

Also, the connection has been fixed.

Love it. New concept that makes you rethink about controlling the amount of territories in a bonus.

Interesting bonus concept, but the map as it is is too small for strategic purposes. On top of that, the lack of variety in bonus sizes makes the map kind of uninteresting to play, and I feel like it would be a lot better if you had bonuses, with 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 territories that comprise them. Overall though, it's a pretty neat concept that hasn't been seen before, and for strategic play, I think this bonus concept has some potential. If you were to make another map with this system, I'd recommend making it a bigger map and to make bonuses of all sizes instead of just 6 territories. Overall, 3/5.

I think most of the problems you mention come from the fact that I created the map first (for the videos), and then tried to force the bonus system to fit it.

I agree that varied bonus sizes would be better, unfortunately the way Zimbabwe's regions are divided wouldn't make that possible. Overall Zimbabwe was not the best map to make an INSS style bonus system on. I will definitely keep that in mind for future maps.

I actually made the map small on purpose because there is already almost too much to think about/calculate each move, so I figured less territories would make it easier to manage everything. The bonus system makes for a brawlish map anyway, but I understand that 49 territories is very small for a strategic map.

I don't think I will ever make another map with this bonus system since it was absolute hell to create. Maybe someone else will though.

Thank you for the honest review!

Wow.. Anyone that has made an INSS map will immediately understand the pain you went through to make this. You must truly be a masochist to create a 7-territory INSS bonus; so if nothing else, I applaud your ambition!

From a technical standpoint, I can't help but respect the work that's gone into this. The bonus system is new and creative, and the art, as usual from you, looks clean and polished. It's beautiful aesthetically.

My one complaint is that the "primary" bonus for Seke-Goromonzi (it looks like it's the one-territory -1 in this case) isn't colored red, which incorrecty gives the territory a black border. In my experience, if you start with the bonuslink bonuses (appropriately colored), then each territory will use that color for its border regardless of the colors of the rest of the bonuses you add afterward.

It's still a 5-star map for me though. Very well done and I'm looking forward to giving it a try in some actual games.

This was my first INSS map and I didn't know what I was getting into. Trust me when I say I will NEVER make another 7 territory bonus again :P

I have tried everything to get rid of that black bonus. The first bonus I added it to was a red bonus but at some point it changed to black. I tried setting the colour of the red bonus again - this makes it turn red again but when I save and reload it just goes back to black. I'm convinced it's a bug with Warzone.

I really appreciate the comments on the aesthetics, nobody likes playing on ugly maps but nobody comments when a map looks good either!

Thanks for the review!

I like the new bonus system, but a lot of blue bonuses only have 6 instead of 7 terr, which i found rather confusing when i first played it.

Wow that was harder than expected. The strategy is probably to get an odd number of territory, build up a force, and then blitz the enemy with an overwhelming force.

I love the idea, but it has a couple issues.
The most glaring one is blue bonuses with even number of territories, giving negative income upon completion. It's needlessly confusing imo.
The second issue is Insiza bordering with Lupane-Nkayi while it very clearly shouldn't.

Can't give more than 3/5 to a map with a broken connection, sorry.

Interesting army calculations. But once you get about 10+, you can just start working on territories. Well done.
