My friend and I played as a team in a 2v2v2. Very complex. The train stations are an excellent way to break up bonuses. it was a little overwhelming to start with three territories, and we found that abandoning certain regions gave more success in the long run.

Fun map to play, the train connections keep you on your toes and allow some fast travel between locations. The only problem is that this map is very heavily skewed towards whoever starts in the north or south.

The bullet train mechanics helps to get around the map faster, which leads to quicker games. I think the bonuses are poorly balanced. Smaller bonuses seem to be much better than bigger ones. They're faster to take, easier to defend and big bonuses have relatively low income when compared to their territory amount.
