Description

A big map mostly meant for diplomacy games. Bonus values are based off the relative value of the land rather than the number of territories it contains.

City bonuses are always red and are worth 2-9 armies per turn
Small nation bonuses are worth 1-3 armies per turn
Normal bonuses are 1-7 armies per turn

Thanks Seleukos for pointing out sum connection errors :)

i loooove this map and i can't wait to play some diplo's on it. I specifically enjoy how major cities are easy to spot and the water tiles. I would rate it 5 stars if it weren't for Crimea and taiwan being part of the russia and china bonuses respectively. Even thought russia conquered crimea it is still considered ukrainian lands and taiwan is its own nation. Also im a bit bothered on how the south china sea islands all have chinese names, except for scarborough shoal. but overall this is one of the best world maps i've seen so far and definitely on my top 10 list.

EDIT: Forget what i said about taiwan i hadn't noticed that the term "China" was divided into both the ROC and PRC. Also on that note i forgot to say im also a fan of how tibet and manchuria have their own bonuses even though they're both a part of the PRC

The national bonuses are made for organization purposes, and are split based on contiguity of smaller bonuses and to an extent historical events. If a nation has territory off of its mainland, it will be split into smaller bonuses (ex. what I did to the UK and its overseas territories, and the USA with Hawaii/Alaska, etc...). Some have been split based off history/culture like China(Manchuria/Tibet) and Canada(Newfoundland and Labrador/Quebec), although I was fairly selective of this as there are very many (Russia is a special case as it has significant amounts of territory spanning 2 continents).

The one thing that I think would make this map stand out more is some stacked bonuses for continents. I might also suggest nerfing the city bonuses just a bit. Certain starts (if you use cities) are much more powerful than others.

Why does the Netherlands only have a bonus voor 3 with no capital city? Denmark for example has also country bonus of 3 but has their capital Kopenhagen with a bonus of 5. Weird that the Netherlands en Belgium both don't have their capitals plus bonuses even though they have double and triple Denmarks population?
