It's fun to play on and very attractive. Unfortunately, the eastern third is a bit too isolated, leading to significant imbalance.

I found this map to be unbalanced ( ie; 4 bonus points for a 5 territory and another having 6 territories in the bonus area. )
I played it in a "Map of the Week" so congrats on that.

3 stars from me. I liked the 3-D style artwork and it was pretty fun to play for a small map. If it wasn't for the diplomacy card it would have gotten a 4 star rating. Diplomacy cards in my opinion are just worthless, they never help you and the AI's like to play them on your gold star turn.

Nice design, many possibilities but the outlying territories seem to take a long time to close out after the balance of power has long been decided.
This isn't the map's fault, but the version I played had way too many diplomacy cards, which simply stalled the game and delayed the inevitable for way too many turns.

I really enjoy this map. Great design. Playing it a lot and winning consistently. But I have not found the "Gold Star" strategy yet.

Great looking map and a pretty good time. The choke points are fun, but with the imbalance for territory bonuses it makes the map pretty easy. If you find yourself isolated with four AI fighting amongst each other you are going to have a good time, but the strategy is steam rolling.
