Sengoku : Rise of Oda Nobunaga

Description

This is a map improved from Todofuken Diplomacy.
To create a mountanious and political chaotic battlefield for the famous warring states period of Japan.Special thanks to DOG0fWAR helping along the process of the map.


The year is set in the 1560s, when many larger clans start annexing smaller clans, foreshadowing the conclusion of sengoku:
・Date holds its position in the North, while the big three: Uesugi.Takeda and Hojo battled against each in the heart of Tosan Mountains.
・Oda and Matsudaira formed a strong alliance, with Oda Nobunaga planning to march west to Kyoto and Tokugawa Ieyasu securing the eastern front.
・Miyoshi clan's infighting later saw it's decline in the Kinai capital region, also drew the ambitions of Ashikaga shogun. Asakura clan. Hatakeyama clan and IkkoIkki(buddhist monks) all trying to gain power around Kyoto.
・Mori and Otomo clan,both conquering minor clans around them, met their border at Shimonoseki, while Shimazu clan took the chance strengthening itself in the southern edge.
