This map was made specifically for very strategic players. I have devised the map with great deliberation to offer a realistic and competitive gameplay. The map has been designed to play as a multi-player chess match. It features a very balanced configuration of territories, bonuses, connections and buffer lands. The following are important settings in this game.
Small World Map - 4 to 8 players Total territories - 70 Bonus groups - 16 Wastelands - 4 x 16 armies Neutral territories regular- 2 armies Neutral territories special- 9 armies (one per bonus group) Random Distribution - 6 territories x 4 armies Income - 4 armies Army Cap - 8x income Local Deployments Reinforcement - 9 armies / 6 cards Emergency Blockade - 2x armies / 8 cards Airlift - 13 cards Diplomacy - 14 cards Sanctions - 15 cards Light Fog
Thank you for your great tutorials. You have done a great service. I kept the bonuses the same dark blue colour because it is more visually appealing. It is easy enough to discern the bonuses on a small world map with 69 territories.
Very nice map. I like the night-sky look of the background. I understand your aesthetic objections, but I must agree with nijanic on the need to make bonuses more evident. Thicker borders? Very faint colors? It tends to be annoying to have to click the (almost invisible, in some cases) bonus number to remember what territories are in the bonus. And making sure a territory is NOT part of any bonus can be quite a hunt (sure, one can click the territory and get the info, but hey, give us a hand!). I don't want this to appear to be a negative review: it's a very very nice map!
