Fun Map nowhere to get cornered so the game flows smoothly to the end

Through my eyes the map is balanced very nice. There are no really overpowered regions and if you add wastelands or random warlord distribution you should face a completly different board situation every game. The map has a good amount of territories to play on it so the game wont last ages and on the other hand there are enough ways to seperate good from bad players. All in all, the map offers a solid basis for a good templates.

Solid little map. There are a couple of territories that aren't part of any primary bonus - just a superbonus. I never like that unless there is a very solid reason for it, but it's a minor point here that doesn't really detract from gameplay.

I'm very excited about the future of this map!

The most beautiful thing about Concordia is that there are so many different ways to play it. I've tried a template similar to the one on the 1v1 Ladder, a template involving Full Limited Distribution (think Africa Elitism), a template with multi-attack turned on, a 2v2 template, a 3v3 template and a 4 players free-for-all! All of them provided fun, balanced, challenging and intense games.

The map may seem small, but it has more bonuses with a good ratio of income per territory than Modified Middle Earth or Battle Islands V. I adore choke points and Concordia has plenty of them! Wastelands drastically change the map so that not a single game looks similar to the other.

Rather balanced map, looks nice and plays well. Overall it plays like any standard strategy map, but that's not a bad thing! If you enjoy 1v1's or small team games I highly recommend it!

I'm sure some people have beat this on single player. I'm a very good single player versus AI but when my bonuses are cut in half and the AI stuffs 30+ units on me every turn there is no way I can see to win. While I am trying to break its bonuses it loads up defense plus has units to take out me in other place. BS, BS, BS..... Give people a snowball's chance at least.

Great map, mainly good for 2-4 players, although by 4 players it can get messy. The way that the map goes from one side to the other may be hard for some people, but i really like it. 4/5

map is fine. Game "The Concordia Duel" isn't winnable due to the AI gets a sanctions card at turn 5, which puts your income at 50 % for the rest of the game.

Map layout is pretty good with lots of single and multiple attack corridors allowing for surprise blocks and counter-attacks, however, against AI, you will only win if you find the one particular strategy that will allow you to win, AND if you coincidentally happen to employ that strategy when the AI employs one specific opening strategy. All other approaches appear impossible. Good luck!

My two cents is that the AI sanctions card is employed one turn too early to make it enjoyable for the average player. I don't think most will make the attempt more than 10 times to find a solution, which in most cases, it will require (IMYHO).

This is a big waste of time. The sanctions card in the hands of the AI makes it impossible to win. 50% reduction for 200 turns. This must have been intended as a joke. If so, it is in very poor taste.

Good, smaller map; plays FAST with 4-6 players.
Nice if you are looking for a quick game without a lot of time.
Waterways are a bit tricky, but provides an extra challenge to keep an eye on.
Fun to play.
A+

Sanction on you is too long. you don't get to sanction AI. Starting with 1/200 is kind of pointless getting only 1 piece every turn

ow do you play a game and keep receiving a sanctions card against you, when the AI has no sanctionscards

There needs to be an explanation of army accounting. It doesn't add up to the numbers given in particular territory allotment. This makes it very difficult to develop a strategy when it is impossible to know how many armies you'll receive at the beginning of a turn. I like the map, but not the aforementioned. It makes it very frustrating. I play to employ strategy, not to gain frustration at trying to figure out rules as I go along that are not explained.

Was für ein Unsinn .Die KI spielt vor der 10 Runde eine Sanktionskarte aus,die noch kein Spieler besitzen kann.Damit ist das Einkommen für 200 Runden auf 19 gegen 45 Armeen. Was soll das?Danke

This is an amazing map, and it works really well for more small-scale battles. I would not recommend using this map with less than 4 other people, or one or two people will end up controlling the majority of the entire thing.
