Great map though the shields that stand for cities and the shields that tell the bonus units that are the same shape are a little confusing, possibly changing the shape of one of them could help

Big map reasonable bonuses. It made for a fun game.

It's a good map, really not many issues there. It is what it is. Main critiques here is that the pyrenees area is a quite difficult starting area and the absence of cities in Africa, since getting at least 2 of your territories in the north or 1 in Granada + 2 close territories are, respectively, best and 2nd best deployments. As for additions, I'd add bonuses for the control of ports and seafaring routes, cities and that's about it. It'd be interesting to see this map taken to the next level with smaller territories, 4-5 starting territories and bigger bonuses, perhaps it makes for an interesting long-game campaign.

I rarely play the same map twice, this one is worth going at from many different starting positions.

Great medium sized map.
Played with 6 players and it was great!!
Just enough room to get started and you dont run into your neighbors until you've built-up a bit.
The waterways work around the entire map; so be careful.
Overall a very good map, but not superb.
Runs well and not too fast.

This map has some challenges. Look closely at the mountains and how territories connect, or don't, across them. The islands and sea lanes provide nice variety.
