A very good map. One of the "hidden gems" of Warlight. Should be used more than it is. Great for medium length games of 30-45 minutes. Some of the bonuses (especially the Scotland bonus) are worth more than they should be, and some (like Ireland) worth less than they should be. A great map for 2v2 or 3v3 team games. Not so great for large Free-for-Alls or for games with auto-distribute territories. Overall, very well done, historically accurate. 4/5

Good Map, but controlling Scotland makes victory almost inevitable due to its defensibility and the number of reinforcements it grants you. This is slightly unbalanced, due to it consisting of a mere 14 territories. Its worth adjusting down the number of reinforcements it grants.

Really like this map though as pointed out by others it is very unbalanced. I started in Scotland and had double the incom of the other players by turn 6.

im very pleased with the structure of this map, it provides the oppotunity to play both on fairly simple areas, with territories touching only 1 or 2 others, as well as complicated areas with territories touching multiple others. and its one of the map this neewbie have actually won a game on. hehe

Territories are completely unbalanced. Absolutely terrible game when you win because you started in a place with a 5 territories for 5 bonus and your opponent has 12 for 6.

Awesome smaller map with lots of armies. high territory numbers makes it a high numbers game, but it plays rather fast. I played with 6 players and it ran smooth. I enjoyed it. Could be played if you have limited time... a game only took me about 20 mins.
Overall, a great quick map if you're short on time.

That's an amazingly unbalanced map. Bonuses in England give same number of armies as territories they have, whilst in Ireland a bonus like Leinster gives only 6 armies for 12 territories ! In addition, the Big cities bonus is quite meaningless.
