The Island of Buccaneers

This map is visually attractive and lots of fun. Thank you for the zone distribution. In my mind, however, it falls short of a perfect rating because of the imbalance between the zones. It's not an issue of disproportional bonuses, but rather one of the relative defensibility of each color faction's territory.

Blue is the easiest to take and hold because it has so few connections to outside territories. Green follows closely behind. Red is incredibly spread out, whereas brown and yellow are the only factions to share significant land borders - and therefore larger borders.

Really cool map! Looks very neat. Only complaint is that it isn't obvious that boats connect. Nice work!

Very good artwork. Medium map (2v2s on it take about 30-40 mins). Ships provide provide good threats.
