I have tried several times to play this and cannot ever get past the " Boss ", is there even a way to get past him? What does the Boss do? How does he add so many armies all at once? There needs to be some explanation on the Boss before you play this game...

Ok after writing a review saying it was terrible I tried the challenge again and instead of giving up on turn 3 I actually played it and won. If you're having trouble with the challenge you shouldn't fight the boss directly. Just take it up the ass and eat the shit he leaves behind. Buff up the provinces around where his deathstack is and try to whittle him down over time, but your focus should be expanding in Europe and Asia, after securing America. Your blockade cards are sorta useless unless you manage to corner the boss in to a spot with only 2 of your border provinces. Just make sure to take out any province he actually reinforces.
Overall, decent map, but the scrolling is bad. Eurasia should really be together.
But I guess I'm not a map expert so my opinion doesn't matter.

The whole flow of the game is dependent on the movements of the AI boss. If he decides to stay in north america and bother the player, it makes winning almost impossible. If he decides to travel to eurasia or asia, victory will come swiftly and decisively as the other AIs struggle to put down the boss.

Geometrically the map is fine, although the back-and-forth scrolling is a bit of a nuisance. The Boss, however, is a clever but terrible idea -- an "opponent" that plays according to an unrelated set of rules and no real motivation. It's equivalent to a "rule" that you randomly lose one territory every turn, which makes rational planning sort of impossible.

The graph does not correctly indicate the BOSS AI Army levels which is MUC higher than shown in the graph
The BOSS AI spending the ENTIRE game stomping ONLY on my home territory was unfair (I won any way BUT others will fail. Better Every AI has Boss army [But a bit smaller] then atleast there is a chance of balance .
It is NOT obvious the the grey narrow barriers are not crossable. understanding earlier would have helped. The map is interesting but needs refinement

OMG - This is awesome! Coming back to the game after quite a while I am confronted with one hell of a challenge. I failed 7 times, but enjoyed every attempt.
Great concept: the map is heavily deatailed and offers numerous tactical approaches - and after you beat it it's just satisfying

This map sucks!, it would've been nice if there wasn't a boss killing me the first two rounds!....add a difficulty level to this!....I'm tired of wasting my time trying to level up to earn cards on an insane level mission. Even more ridiculous, is how Warlight...your original server had cards already unlocked. Stop the ridiculous "Warzone" website and go back to how you originally did things. This World War 2320 is the worst game map you have ever made. If you actually are reading this and actually care about what your fans think...make a difficulty level, have all cards unlocked for everyone (like before), and give your gamers a chance to win a game beyond level 5. I love Warlight, but as of the past few month trying this...this is lame. Sincerly Max

The map itself is quite good, very challenging. However, as most others have stated, the "boss" is a virtual impossibility to conquer. I've tried running away (to let the other AIs have a crack at him) to direct confrontation. I see no way to win this level - even though others claim to have done so. If the people who run this site are willing to see people stop playing because of this particular challenge, then all the best to them.

This is a great map and the Boss is a good idea. Don't bother trying to take him on directly. Just recapture what he takes in a turn and use the rest of your armies to conquer new territory. You have to be fast and aggressive in expanding your territory. One thing I don't like about this game in general is how towards the end you're getting more armies per turn than you know what to do with. This map gives you something to do with all those armies in the endgame: attack the Boss!

it seems some map features got screwed up by the updates, but that's ok because it still works.
as for the singleplayer, it is not too hard, head north and don't bother with the boss until you're ready to fight him, because you will squander your resources fighting with him, and it's why the 3 other bots are easy to roll over, because they waste all their resources fighting each other. do not waste the 2 emergency blockade cards early game, you will not get any more, you only start with those 2. focus all your resources on conquering canada and going to europe through iceland.
when the boss finally gets to you, put 1 army around the territory he occupies, if you leave it at 0, he will snatch it with 1 army. putting 1 army here and there is a safeguard, not a waste of resources. do not try to form a stack against the boss until you've got the other 3 bots on the run, then try to kite him into an emergency blockade of 70-80. if you can do that, then form a stack to finish him off and wipe out the other bots.

This map sucks. In addition to being almost impossible to beat the boss, on this map we start on the same continent as the boss. All the other AI are free to grow while you are alone to fight/escape the boss. Since you cannot progress to other maps unless you clear this one, it becomes impossible to continue the game. I intend to delete your game soon unless you tell me how I can move forward.

I am not sure how this level is supposed to work but the 'boss' isn't really even the problem. The problem is that his army expands at 5x the rate of anyone else. Every tip I have found is to ignore him and let him fight everyone else, but when that army generates more troops than everyone else combined, he can just fight all of us simultaneously. I thought I was doing well, I took most of europe, then all of a sudden, armies of 40-50 strong just rolled through me taking 5-6 territories at a time. After surrendering, I saw that the boss was gaining 84 armies per turn, I was in second place and only gaining 13 per turn.

Strategy 1: Shadow the boss and meanwhile try to fight the other players. Turned out really badly.
Strategy 2: Ignore the boss and focus on the other 3 AIs. Did manage to defeat them, but ceded control of North America to the boss, which is a MISTAKE and the boss just steamrolls right through you later. Arctic Islands are problematic because one may not pay much attention to it.
Blockading Greenland discourages the Boss from going after you, worked fairly well for some turns. Map is pretty good except for Europe to Asia attacks which may get confusing. Please move this to further back in the solo mission as it is extremely difficult for beginners.

Well. I managed to destroy the Boss stack. I managed to get enough (about 60) units in Pennsylvania and slapped a blockade card on them. The Boss stack kept attacking it until he lost all 400. Great! HOWEVER, I then got hammered by the rest of his regular army that had taken the USA.
Time to try again, Who knows, maybe I'll get this "skip level" thing they mention...…..

Boss armies are a completely stupid idea if I've ever seen one. Like there really isn't much you can do against a 400 stack which can add units on its turn. Like I don't understand how people can beat this level because of the way the A.I does stuff it's unpredictable.

So those little numbers on the brown boss are the Boss' HP. Once I figured that out, I realized I had to conquer the world while following him with a growing army. Not a good starter map, but definitely an interesting challenge for someone level 30 and up.

inclusion of a "Boss" which acts as a stack of 400 troops is ridiculous. You spend all the time capturing territory correctly and then the boss just comes through and fucks over everything, you spend all your time chasing him around repairing the damage while your enemies get stronger. Stupid inclusion for what would have been a cool map.

I understand the idea behind this map. One cell of an enemy is a snowflake and can demolish any cell that is near it.
However, my only issue with the map, is that the amount of troops the enemy cell mentioned is quite high. At one point, I almost had every cell in the map, and I still had to play around that one cell.
Maybe halve the troop amount within that cell so it is more balanced?

not to vent or anything but GET RID OF THIS MAP OF HOROR!!! i play again and again and its not fun to loose in turn 10 every time. i do my best to do what people say like just try to get to asia or europe but wen i get there i take like 3 enimy ai and then its the "boss" at 50 armys on both ends and i canot get the armys to take that on with the actual boss going for strate for which ever place i took last. by turn 10 i am at 5 again with all sides ai enimys.
