If this included Central America and the Caribbeans and had smaller bonus values, it could be 'amazing' (5/5): the best maps have great balance between (a) the center and the periphery, (b) the inner/contested and outer/safe bonuses, (c) large and small bonus values, (d) the continent and the islands/peninsulas. Adding other parts of the Americas would've fleshed this out from a geostrategic perspective.

Overall a nice map, but the sizes/amounts of regions are tiring. Although it may be for accuracy purposes (not an expert on this), countries like Guyana and Suriname ended with a lot of tiny regions. Not only are their borders barely discernable, some of the regions are so small it's hard to click them on high zoom, not to mention amounts of armies there overlapping so it's difficult to see how many are stationed within !
The bonuses are also at least twice too high, making the game evolve into hundreds vs hundreds as soon as turn 15. Maybe dividing some of the bonuses into two or more, having less provinces per bonus would serve to provide a bigger challenge...

Good map, great potential, it would be great to make territories more equilibrate (brazil too big, suriname or ecuador too small). I understand that is geographically accurate, what about grouping provinces?

Nice map overall, but I see two primary issues. First, the bonus areas are very large and take forever to conquer. Woe to anyone who begins in Colombia as opposed to, say, southern Chile.
Second, some of the territories are far too small. It would probably be best to consolidate some territories in the interest of visibility.

Some of the territories are almost impossible to click on without zooming in all the way or very carefully moving the mouse, and far too many territories are extremely difficult to see who they connect with prior to attacking. A few of the territories could easily be combined to make this less of a problem, or the borders at least slightly adjusted. Aside from that, not bad. A good few choke locations, some territories clearly more powerful than others to make for good contentious spots... just definitely those territory lines need to be improved.

Considering the number of territories on this map, (some Warlight maps have 1000 ), this map is a disgrace considering the number of missing connections it has. :(
