Personally, I think this is the best Westeros map on Warlight. I liked the bonuses, especially the subdivisions of the kingdoms. The Small Council is also a very nice feature, and is well implemented. Also, the locations and spellings of some territories were better on this map than other Westeros maps. (I didn't notice any errors, although I could have missed some)

Great map. But the problem is that the random distribution can yield VERY uneven starting points. In a recent game w/ 8 players, the armies received at turn #1 varied from 9 to 21! If you start w/ a 9 and the other guy starts w/ a 21, there's no point playing. :(
In addition, the instructions for the Small Council bonus are misleading. They should say -10 for EACH additional Small Council seat. As it reads now, it implies that it is a once-off -10 for any additional seat (no matter how many).

Beautifully large map to simply immerse yourself into. Generally well balanced, and catering for most if not all game types, and the optional "Others" mechanics implemented for a custom scenario or diplomacy much like the ASOIAF novels; what's not to love?
Well there's a small few off aspects regarding accuracy to the novels, but these are more than likely to go unnoticed and nonetheless it remains the most accurate map of it's kind right now; especially considering some of the the improvised names needed for a map of this many territories. I can tell it's been very carefully considered and crafted. Great job!

I wanted to love this map and for the most part i do it is just the "others" location and ice city and the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, i don't get why those locations by default have such high numbers i mean to be a "fair" fight with a two person battle, one would have to own almost the whole map, and the other those seven locations.

It has been edited. It was originally worth 1000 income from taking the entire set of territories, now it's worth 500 in total.
Edit: Now worth 0 as default so the game creater can edit as they wish.

COUNCIL SEATS ARE MORE THAN -10. You need to improve the description of the council. Dropped into a random 3v3 real time game. And what do you know, moving into the council seats are -10 EACH. This is a key word that your description NEEDS!

This is a terrific map, with great detail and huge space for exponential expansion. After playing a few games on it, I think it's clear that this map is more fun in a team scenario (whether formal or unofficial). It's really hard to defend borders in this map except in a few areas where the passages are limited (like Dorne and "The North"). Every-person-for-themselves games drag on forever because it's so hard to hold onto the megabonuses across those huge borders. But with teams you can back each other up at borders and it's a little less stressful. :)

Cool enough idea, but "-10 penalty for holding more than 1 bonus on the small council" does not make it clear that you'll get that penalty multiple times. That makes this a two star map for me.

Do not play this map. The "council" states -10 if more than one council owned. It actually means -10 for every territory in the circle owned. I went from 180 troops to zero troops because it's not explained. It basically makes that territory worthless. Poor description, poor concept.
