It's all very well saying it's no good and games are all down to luck, but look at it! What do people expect when they create/join a game on this? I think it's okay to have it on the site as a novelty one off. It's ridiculously simple and, well, simply ridiculous, but it's unpretentious and isn't hurting anyone by masquerading as something that it isn't.

There's more to this than people say, particularly if you play on complete fog (you can still calculate what your opponent has, but it's a challenge). The trick is knowing which turns to attack and when to hold back. It's a different game, though.

Duel map does have some value: 1.Game-theoretical value since it is the simplest map on which a warlight game is at least feasible. 2. Lottery. 3.Train yourself in patience. So duel map does have to exist. But it is not a good map to play on.

This map is a very difficult challenge in it's own way. IT's good to strike right away, to weaken your opponents armies. Otherwise, you both build up, and whoever decides to attack first is a dead man. It's a game of poke the bear essentially; you want them to attack you in a later round. It's fun! I'd play it with all my friends, and I'd certainly show it to others. Good job! Fancy idea.

I like the concept, but there is not really any strategy. Basically, whoever gets to attack first wins. Might as well flip a coin. How about this: divide the bodies up into regions (legs, arms, body, head) weighted with bonuses as to their importance. Play with heavy fog.
