The classic map everybody knows.
However it's more fun to play with a lot of players (it's like monkeys in a small cage).
Try it with 4v4 or 4v4v4 and you will not dissapoint.

Very Fun Map, But some problems Ive run into:
(1)People who start in Ukraine or Africa will have MAJOR problems dealing with both AI and people, as it is very open to any possible attacks.
(2) People who start in South America will have MAJOR advantages, as it is a perfect continent to start out in.
Fortunately, I really, still, enjoy this map, especially in practices. This map is almost the equivalent to Classic RISK, and, well, I usually have fun pwning AIs in this map. Though I have not tested to players yet, I will soon.

This is probably one of the best maps I've ever played. The map is also probably one of the most strategic.
The bonuses are simple and the map is small enough to not complicate things.
It's also a good map to do 40 player FFAs, as they are usually simple and strategic.

Here are the tips for winning in 14 turns.
1.Conquer South America.Get Bonus!!
2. Try to take the whole Europe to boost the ability of deployment(bonus 5), while keep your army in Mexico. (You don't need take any action in USA and Canada.)
3.America: Send army in N Europe to Greenland, and then Canada.
Eurasia:Keep the borders stable(in my case, Ukraine and Middle East). Even though you may face massive attack, you need to be careful not to lose army in vain.
Africa: You have to take Africa with minimum deployment. (in my case, by turn 9 or 10)
4.And then, your enemies get so weak that they could not fight successfully against you any more. Advance your army gradually, but not hesitantly. Otherwise, you fail to win by 14 turns.
5. You dominate the world!! You win!!(13 turns also possible)

I really enjoy this map. It's a great starting place to learn the game and leads up to more complicated maps. For a beginner it's great though not complicated enough for perhaps a more experienced player. Either way, every game I've had on this map I have enjoyed thoroughly.

Classic, but not very balanced. Africa should worth something like 4 (compare it to Europe which has 1 more prov total, 1 more prov to def (4 total) at cost of 2!!! extra income), and Australia something like 1.5 (because compare it to SA, yea, from Australia you can't expand as good, but still, hella easy to def), Asia is just too big and may worth even 1000, anyway when you take it you probably won already. Anyways, had a fun FFA game on this once.

The normal map for risk this is and the first map you will play if you started with single player mode. this map is easy to learn is fun to play if you have little time however 1 problem i have with this map is common stalemates and long games like normal risk

1/5. Minor flaws to the map itself: (1) Territory names in Europe: 'N.', 'S.', and 'W.' instead of 'Northern', 'Southern', 'Western'. (2) Scandinavia doesn't connect to 'N. Europe'. Thus: 'It is the classic Risk map we all love,' only it isn't exactly.
WL vs Risk: The Risk map without Risk rules (cyclical turns in which each player's orders are made and viewed before the next player takes his/her turn; lacks the distribution rules of Risk) makes the map less strategic. Using WL rules on an inexact copy of the Risk map is like playing tennis on a ping-pong table. Other maps on WL are made with WL rules in mind. This wasn't.
I've played about 3000 games of Risk at pogo.com. No matter what I do with this map's settings, none of my games on WL approach the richness of strategy and balance of classic Risk. The real Risk map with Risk rules: 5/5. It's my favorite game.

Well, it was a decent game, I guess, apart from Kialra being a massive dickhead and forcing me to surrender, otherwise they were going to steal my Red-Eyes Black Draegin. And I wasn't feeling that.
