It would be nice if there were some indication on the map that the top territories connect to the bottom, and right to left.

Fun map and the edges being ocnnected was a great thing to discover, adding some more challenge. All said and done, even with five opponents this was too easy - lower bonuses would significantly increase the difficulty...

nice simple map

interesting concept, but uninteresting game play, especially in the early game. the main reason this map isn't as good as it can be is the fact that you can move from the edge of the screen to the other side. this means that the map is essentially circular; there are no corners because you can keep moving right or left forever, even if you are in what seems visually to be a corner.
the main improvement this map could have is the addition of real corners that prevent movement. this would allow for strongholds to be founded on the edges and in corners, rather than being constantly open to attack from every side. another improvement could be to have larger bonus areas, as currently the only bonuses are 9x9 squares.
that being said, the constant vulnerability from all angles is very interesting. it forces you to form squares or diamonds (perhaps at the determent of holding territories) in order to minimize your surface area while maximizing your volume.
