369 territories, 139 bonuses, 2 distribution modes

Description

"The world is in turmoil. Kings in their respective kingdoms have waged war on each other in the hopes of ultimate power. Bonds broken, alliances formed, and armies decimated. What would you do in the war for Deitism?"

This is my first map, and is designed for optimal roleplay gamestyles. Each superbonus has been balanced according to their area, and hopefully it becomes a big favourite in massive roleplayers.

It good, 4/5. Though the connection lines don't look very good, the super bonus territories are all the same colour, which makes it harder to see all the individual bonuses. Apart from that, everything else is good.

In addition maybe add some ships, this will make connections between Islands much better!

Thank you for the feedback! Seeing as it's still only my first map, I am cleaning it all up etc. and going to update it at a later point in the week or so with cleaner connection lines, tighter territories, and a list of the SBs in the top left corner.

This is your first attempt at a map? It was a spectacular success. Okay, maybe the red connecting lines are a tad sloppy, but this is hands down one of the best maps I've played on. The bonuses are manageable. The 1:1 ratio of territories to bonus armies (as well as the realistically attainable superbonuses) provide a perfect counterpoint to the many, many chokepoints this map boasts. In other words, you can secure a base, but you cannot turtle your way to victory. Cheers on an incredible map.

If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be only to make sure that each territory has a unique name - rather than "Eastern Tochapan Wilds", "Southern Tochapan Wilds" and so on. But again, that is incredibly minor and does not impact gameplay in the slightest.

Thank you so much for the positive comments! While it is true that the names get repetitive, it is hard to come up with 369 completely unique names, even with a random name generator, lol. I am trying to fix things up with the next update, however, so look forward to good things! :)

It looks nice, but the bonuses may be a little over powered. I think you should add distributions in case people wanted to try to play diplomacy games.
Great job for a first map!

Thanks for the review! In response to the bonuses, though, each normal one is equal to the number of territories inside of it, and each superbonus is equal to the number of bonuses in of it. Therefore, the power of them is according to their size, as with any real-world country.

I liked playing at this map.

Found 2 missing links :
- The Empty Crypt with Yms Road (Iwredence Bonus Area)
- Northern Drahl Lake with Davenby Fort (Iwredence Bonus Area)

thanks for the work

Thank you for the missing links. I'll fix them in the next update.

re Nathan's comments and the bonus size; seeing the amount of regions, I did not feel any problematic imbalance.
It will simply be a game of who is able to implement his huge armies most efficiently.

Love it, thank you!

Prepare to be surprised!. This map is looking like quite lienar at first sight, with lots of chokepoints and corridors, but playing it feels completely different. I had no problem with feeling stuck anywhere (except of armywalls of my opponents ofc ;) ).Everything is interconnected very well. Bonuses are big, which allows for rapid growth of your armies and gameplay is flexible and dynamic. I had a lot of fun!

Aaron took my homeland and stopped me from getting Coruscant. 7/10
Response by map creator [Ag⁴⁷] Wolffe on 6/1/2014
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you mean exactly? By "Coruscant" do you mean Qecreset, maybe? If so, you shouldn't really judge a map by whether you lose a game on it or not. Thank you for your rating, however. :)
