E-mails now need to be verified in Warlight. The e-mail system itself requires a phone number to validate the e-mail. Therefore I'd need at least 4 working phones if I wanted to have active alts. I don't have a single one. The one I had to validate my hotmail account was lost when I forgot it in a restaurant near the flat I live and now God knows where it is. loch ness is a real life friend of mine who studies in the same highschol as me. In case you doubt it, we may have a conference call and settle this already. My nickname in skype is lucaskronenbergen. Now please stop stalking me, it's getting on the nerves. Thank you.

Bollocks.

I just created an alt without verifying the bogus email address. Additionally i have never needed a phone number to create an email address from either Yahoo or gmail

My brand new alt account that required no verification whatsoever and doesn't use a valid email address.

Definitely don't need a phone number to set up an email account, and even if you did you would only need one number and set up accounts through hotmail, gmail, yahoo, aol, zoho, icloud, safemail, tormail etc

Though for the life of me I can't work out why you need more than one account to play this game.

you need neither

go onto GMAIL and make a fake one in about two seconds (with all of warlights alerts, using your real one is stupid anyway) or just use a random one. for example cool@hotmail.com works if anyone wants to use it (i haven't touched it yet)

One of my alt's email addresses is something similar to "ffffffffffff@fffafafafafafafaa.com"; you don't even need a legit email address to create an alt

@ ಠ⌣ಠ - He broke rule 3, "You shall not operate more than one WarLight account in a way that gives you an advantage in a game, tournament or ladder." His alt(s) and main account should be banned.

you can't ban people for using alts...

Banning them will do nothing, they will just create a new account

Still don't know what the point of an alt is, and no one seems to have an answer.

Only logical reason I can think is for the purpose of giving yourself an advantage in games, or to troll. Though if your going to do the latter, you should probably just have the balls to let people know its you.

make earning points harder like it used to be before so alts don't level up quickly

many of us use basic prerequisits to remove such alts and noobs, which need to be updated
level 50 is the new level 30

Odd. Just the other day I got myself a warning my e-mail had to be verified. I couldn't join any other game until I did so. Besides, you do have to use a phone number to create an outlook/hotmail account. I never used other e-mail provider other than microsoft ones so that might not be the case with yahoo, for instance

What about a case you want to be in different clans? You can only have one thus you get into another one with your alt.

the problem with detecting alts, is proxies.
an alt from the same IP/same computer are easy to detect and ban when reported properly.. but when someone uses a proxy there is no real way to proof they are doing it, besides a right out confession.
