bassoon we already have 3 full teams of 6-7 players for the Netherlands and Flanders and looking at your statistics I would say if there can be a fourth team you will be probably in there. for that they also need to allow that amount of teams in the cup

By the way, while a perfect power of two would be great, I don't think it's an absolutely necessary restriction. If we end up with, say, 42 teams, this can be reduced to 32 by having a partial ("qualification") round between 20 teams. After those 10 matches, 32 teams remain. Another way to look at it is to say the other 22 teams survive the first round because they didn't have an opponent and therefore automatically make it to the next round (42 real teams plus 22 "missing opponents" is 64).

um, those are the same thing, and this is a good idea, either byes for the best teams (like brazil) or the teams that are not the best in their region (like netherlands four team) should have to play in the play-in games

Apparently I have been picked as captain for Netherlands/Flanders 1. It might be a bit iffy, since I'm currently travelling in Australia, but not impossible.

so with 4 point you win against other team.

I personally would prefer 4 1v1, 2 2v2, 2 3v3, 1 5v5, worth 9 points total. With 4 1v1's, it gives each 1v1 player a chance to play 2 1v1 games against the other nation, which imo is better.
