No people are continuing because the debate is now whether to reset the ladder or not, as some of the early games have had spilt activated.

I was only referring to the discussion "Can we still split or not?"

I have the slider available. It seems to be offering the opportunity to split my troops. I have't committed yet though. Are we sure the settings are fixed?

If they are, the slider is making things confusing.

I'm playing on android.

Update your mobile version. There's a no split version on the phone. At the moment, your stack will follow your firstorder, even if you wanted to move with 2 only

Well like you update every app if it doesn't show up automatically. Go in Play store--> search warlight--> upate

I've found away to override the system!!

Step #1) deploy armies
'' '2) click on an adjacent territory
'' '3) manually type the amount of armies you want to send
'' '4) press 'ok'

I'm not going to use this as a cheat.

I think the coding only hides the deployment slider and nothing else. It doesn't prevent you from doing step #3.

Doesn't work. The first place you send an army to from a terretory, all armies follow. Did you try it?

Have the orders visible. then you'll see a difference.

I could do the same too on my phone. The orders look like it's possible, but you will see if your turn advances that it's not

Even now i think it's confusung with the slider missing. I don't usually use the slider, i just type in the number of armies i want transfered. And this still works.

Lets assume i have 10 armies in Norway and i want to get Scandinavia. I click on NOrway, hit 3 on my keyboard and then on Svalbard. Same procedure with Sweden and Finland. According to the No-Split thing it shoudln'T work (and it doesnt when the turn advances) but before the turn advances i can see in my orders and on the map that i attack each one of he 3 territories with 3 armies which is really confusing when you dont know this feature exists.

In my first game i checked the settings to find the twist for this season but i didn't find anything that might hint that there is this No-Split feature. Not only that, but the "Attack by percentage" is activated which clearly indicates that you can split attacks. So when doing my first moves i proceeded as stated above, only using the keyboard. Before submitting the orders i always check the orders on the right and everything was fine and then with the turn advancing the "WTF" came on my face.

This really annoys me. I dont read the forum frequently and I think there are plenty of other players participating in the seasonal ladder who don't do that as well. And there was no chance of reading about this new feature (which I do like infact) other than in the forum or in the blog. It should have been mentioned somewhere in the settings of the actual game.

Even though I'm not against this new feature I'm thinking of leaving the ladder as i did my picks without the knowledge of the feature which leaves me with a huge (in some games) disadvantage. I simply find the way it was communicated to the participants wrong and unfair

rooob - that is exactluy what happenned to me..

It should have % attacks on, and should list it that way on the orders IMO. It should always say %100 on the order list, and not "3" or however many armies it is. I don't think the slider should be removed, it should just be locked in at %100, and attack by % on by default. Then it would be clear you are attacking at %100 every time.

In fact, it should not even be called "no split attacks". It should just be called "attack full enabled" or something like that. Actually, you should be able to ISSUE split attacks, but only one will really occur. Say you do transfer only from A to B. Then you do attack/transfer from A to C. If you don't have B when your move happens, then A to C should still occur. It should simply be all %100 attacks, which means you could never attack 2 spots from 1 in a turn (since all are sent), but you could issue two attacks from the same spot (only 1 would occur).

If think WE are doing nothing. And frankly i think Fizzer will leave it this way. Too much time passed.

Too much time? It was brought up day 1. Well, i am leaving ladder then. I was just experimenting in my games i got. That makes this season invalid if some played under other settings.

How can it be too late? I have joined half way through seasons and finished my 20 games.
