Maybe you should learn the difference between a post and a thread before you try to correct me on my English. Enjoy your day, sir.

Incaman - meet Lawlz.

I do however have one advice for new mapmakers: Don't rush your maps (we all like to see it published as soon as possible) but some test maps need to be discarded and the process started a new so that the final product is worth your time.

I couldn't agree with you more. I can safely say I fell into this trap with about half my maps. If I have time, I'm planning to redo some of them.

Red dead redemption I aimed for just strategy. There is a few design issues that you can find. I've been meaning to adjust it. That's because I rushed at the end to get public ^^ :) Again the bonus lines in Renaissance Italy are horrible. If I redo one, it will be this first.

Qi's the only one I listed who has only one map rated 4+ and that is because I suspect players that don't like Qi may have deliberately rated his maps low. The others all had multiple maps rated 4+. Feel free to write a bit about your favorite mapmakers on this thread and explain why they are a great mapmaker.

At Richard's request, I wanted to add another mapmaker. He has made only one map but it is beautiful. http://warlight.net/Map?ID=4445 . [X]Crusader(my alt). With the making of this map, I realized that sometimes, it is best to leave the mapmaking to others with more talent and more willing to put the time in :)

Nice try JSA ;)

Without doubt Incaman and Ra's maps have it all and are made to perfection. That's why they are the two best map makers. I think Eliod's and Qi's map are good also.

@ Apollo and JSA

Please guys don't get stuck into competitions, if you have any issues with designing and vector elements send a mail. I'm always (i'm sure other mapmakers are too) open for collaboration, we can help each other. If you have any issues i'm always willing to help. I can draw some vectors for you, someone else can do the same. Lets cooperate :D

It's nice to see myself in this list. For me, however, it should be noted that two (three when including the Poland Big map, which was adopted from rashaz) maps are rated between 3.97-4.0.

PS: My name was misspelled... twice. (Fecoblan Roblexia / Fecoban Roblexia)

I like the map. But your Zhou Leng superbonus number is sort of off the picture, perhaps color in the rest of the Ying-Yang or soemthing?

Thanks, Yeezus. I was kinda hoping the Zhou Leng SB wouldn't be too noticeable, seeing as the number was white anyway, lol.

This is not an objective thread. Mostly, maps get a lower rating if they are longer public.
My maps Benelux and Mongolia had a +4 rating in the past and now it's just below the 4 star rating.

It is very personal which map you do like and which maps others like.
Although I must say the maps in warlight are getting better, especially the huge maps (for example: Switzerland).

Some feedback on the map
http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=34891

Please do not overlap the yellow connections, that's very confusing
Use more colors, my advice is to use a different colors for each small bonus

If you do this I will give that map minimum a 4 star rating ;)

Ratings are too subjective. Some people will say things like it is too big. Maybe the map is fantastic just the player does not like large games. No reason to ding the map. People should try listed templates first too. One of my maps is built for custom scenario. If you don't play that you cannot assess map well
