If the topic is well-known, I could claim (note the word claim) to be one of the most well known players in the game. I am not too well known on the forums, yet I am known in that world. I am known in the clans I am a part of, and have manager rights or Council membership in them. (Manager Rights: LN, USW. Council: Illuminati, LEA). I have my own clan in which every player knows me, and then in LEA I know at the very least 3/4th of the numbers. USW I have quite a few that know me, and the same in Illuminati. Then there's the diplomacy world, in which I have been famous for my templates, and playing. I am also extremely well known in the roleplay world. Almost every roleplay clan leader knows me, and so do players from most roleplay clans. And then there's the lottery world which I am not proud of, but I will not deny that I am known in that world too. The only world I'm not too well known is in the Ladder area where I pretty much suck.
I suggest that we put this discussion aside, this topic is too wide, and cannot be truly answered. People like me can make tall claims, but yet there's too many who can do the same as I just did.

I could make an argument that I am the best known as well. As I regularly participate in a variety of open real time games although lately that has subsided. In fact I think anyone can make an argument they are the best known player. It is really a moot point and I like to add who cares really? If we are talking about elite players Sze Gnuff Odin Pulsey the Masters etc(just trying to keep it short folks :D) are all probably really well known among ladder players. If we are talking about Diplos then I don't know maybe slasher or someone from a diplo clan?

This is why nobody likes you Lawlz. Every time your name is mentioned you have to come out and vigoursly defend yourself like someone burned down your house. Chill. It amuses me the person that makes the biggest effort to defend his ‘reputation’ is the one with the worst.
How good my clan is has nothing to do with this topic. My clan is biggest on WL, that is a fact, and there are now 135 new players that recognize my name. Fact. And you out of all people have no right to call other noobs. Given your dismal performance on both 1v1 and 2v2 ladder, I’m skeptical how much better you be on other templates. I mean, come on, you cant even break 200th in a ladder with 220 people. Are you not a noob yourself?
Apollo is right too. Your notorious fame is only temporary. A few days after your departure you’ll be quickly forgotten. The few that remember you will remember you as nothing but an annoyance, the forum punchbag and a loser. :)
This is a silly topic, not sure why its generating so much interest.
