The tournament is set for Saturday, August 8th, 2012, at 12:00 PM (Noon) GMT-6.

GMT-6 is Mountain Daylight Time in the US (MDT).

Timezone Conversions (assuming you are observing Daylight Savings Time)

• East coast of the US: 2:00 PM EDT.
  
• United Kingdom: 7:00 PM BST.

GMT is the time that us Brits live in. So surely it would be at 6pm not 7?

Calculating time: 12:00PM GMT-6 = 6:00PM in GMT-0 = 12:00AM in GMT+6

In the summer Britain is not on GMT, but BST(British summer time). This is GMT +1, that's why in Britain we have to change the time on our clocks twice a year.

As Green explained, due to Daylight Saving Time, the UK is on BST (not GMT) during the summer. Because of that it's 7:00 instead of 6:00 for them (assuming you actually moved your clock forward an hour a few months ago).
