Duke, thanks for the compliment and though I realize its obviously hyperbole, you vastly overestimate my abilities. Not sure I could beat anyone in 20 straight let alone 50.

Kid's not bad actually. Lot to learn but handled himself well in the first two games.

Yea, never played that map so didn't know the advantages. Same goes for the Roman map. I also loathe 75% luck.

I was under the impression that all of the games would be strategic 1v1. Adding other maps does change things somewhat, but not enough.

Nah, I had said he could do any map, any reasonable settings (though that first map had some wonky card settings)

What's actually the purpose of having/being in a clan? I somehow fail to see any advantages in the whole concept.

It's a method to meet people and find games you want to be involved with. You can do the same thing if you make friends, and honestly you can get most of the benefits from hitting "open games" and looking around. It's better than open games in that you can help tailor the group of people involved somewhat. That's pretty similar to just making friends in the end.

There's also the side benefit of being accepted into a community, which has plenty of psychological benefits.

I want one rematch. And yeah those were great games we played :)
