"i disagree with the premise that this forum exists for competitive purposes of winning or losing the conversation. "

True.

You cant win in conversation. You cant learn somebody....if he dont want.
Forum is a good place where you can learn and change yourself.

I think one of the greatest additions that clans would do.. would be the ability to remove clans from your games/tourneys that have a history of colluding in ffa games despite the circumstances not being in favor of it.. :P lol

Hey guys, why quarrelling in this post? I just come to warlight to enjoy a clean good game with great teammates and opponents. just enjoy.

Play as a clan or as a lonewolf, any clan, it is individual freedom and choice.

Enjoy the fun of the game. Improve the skills and enhance the fun.

It is good to see different clans on WL so we can enjoy clan wars sometimes in tournaments. As long as all of us are playing in good skills, good team spirit and good sportsmanship, it is fun.

I am new to this game, would anyone mind explaining the whole "clan" thing. That would help a lot. Thanks.

Cookie, as far as I know, there is no "clan" system on WL. I have a tag in front of my name, denoting where I am currently at (the real China, not the makeshift home of the Nationalist pigdogs), but it is not a big deal, or something to worry about. Clans, as such, can (not always) dilute the game with certain aspects such as cheating, although I am not accusing anyone of that. God only knows, there are enough threads devoted to that topic.

um, has anyone ever experienced a clan actually 'cheating'? anyone can cheat, whether they're clanned up or not. so it is an accusation when you single clans out like that, texasjohn.

Yeah, I agree with X on that, I'm not trying to reopen that topic, but cheating is done (in my experience) by mostly non-clan-members for 2 reasons: 1 - everything you do reflects on your clan, so cheating and such reflects negatively on your group, 2 - it's hard to cheat when you both have the same tag in front of your name, it's much easier to cheat if you appear to have no affiliation and are just friends.

I've only observed one group regularly colluding in ffa's.. not preisely cheating, but pre-agreed collusion is pretty /yawn in ffa's imho..
I've observed non-clan members doing it a whole lot more.. my last post in this thread was in response to an observation in which it was fairly obvious that several clan members in a large ffa were working together to gain an advantage for a single clan member
