He adopted the list of countries at a high risk of originating terrorism from lists used in the past by Congress and the Obama administration. It's likely he did this in order to defend against legal attack upon the merits of whatever list *he* would have come up with personally.

The British political establishment says that "we will not be stopped" by terror--what they really mean is that they, who hide behind armed body guards and military and bulletproof glass, will not be stopped as they continue to transform the societies they rule through mass immigration on the one hand, and take control of speech and expression on the internet on the other. Trump signals against this, and so he's a "dipshit" in the minds of people who have no thoughts independent of what the academic/media priesthood direct them to think.
