I can, and have done, opera in the past. Give me a few weeks and I might make something with my friend's studio as proof. :)

I don't really have a favourite genre of music... but I hate music with lyrics.

So most music lol

Well, not really "hate"... but dislike. Lyrics are distracting you from the melody, which is a downside, in my opinion.

But music without lyrics is more abstract in that it can only communicate emotion. Music with lyrics are much more broader in an artistic sense - you get story, thought, philosophy, and emotion. Just my take on it :)

favorite band is Information society

If I wanted a story, thought or philosophy I'd have read a book. If I listen to music, I want emotions... and the most intense emotions possible.

Just my opinion anyways.

Jazz is music for the soul and is one of the biggest parts of American culture, so yes, I love jazz. You can't go wrong with Davis, Coltrane, Brubeck, etc.

@Death - there are instrumental versions for some music with lyrics (in the instrumental variant it's just music )

Dude, opera and jazz are some of the best genres out there.
