People act religiously about clans when all it is, is friends playing together and having an easier means to communicate. I agree with what most of the people said. You should be in a clan with people you often play with.

People get offended if you leave a clan or they really hate certain clans ie. Poonsquad and Darklords. When it doesn't matter. If someone is happy in a clan leave them the fuck alone.

But Nogals, surely no-one can be happy in Darklords?
No fuck you, I met someone who was happy to be in Darklords and felt proud of his clan. Just because they have 1000 members doesn't mean that members can't be happy.

I also find this thread interesting since Olympus and AOE are different kinds of clans. I think this was more of a publicity stunt and the leadership of AOE fell for it.

Well I can tell you no one in our clan feel for it. No one left yesterday. So it was a failed publicity stunt.

It's just a game, guys, no need for clan-like propaganda wars or something. I can understand when someone likes his clan (I love CORP myself), but hating on other clans is a bit low here.

Agreed, Death. This looks like a bad trolling attempt by Hera, to annoy the Alpha Theta [Edit: Epsilon] leadership. I don't know why she is trying to cover up her tracks. She should admit that saying ΑΘΕ isn't a "real clan" was nasty, and in no way necessary, and that all this has done has caused unneeded friction.

Man, this sounds just like one big piss take by AOE and Olympus. Why don't you guys do what TJC and Poon Squad did. Have a couple of big team games with 3 day boot and from there go back to the way everything was.

For what I understood, AOE is trying to steal members of Olympus, then Olympus members are logically angry but overreact (as the post showed here) feeding the drama. Both parties should make peace.

Few noobs? sending mails to other clans members? Still they are members of a clan, this is clearly a lack of managing abilities from the AOE staff. I am sorry, but what is done is done, and I undestand perfectly Olympus's anger, yes they overreacted, but AOE is also responsible.

Get real. We're not Big Brother nit-picking the behavior of our clan members. Does the AOE Senate want to unite with Olympus? NO. Was their any public discussion or call to (either in clan chat or clan forum) to unite with Olympus? NO. We are not responsible for those who messaged Olympus calling for our clans to unite. We have never stolen Olympus players. We have never tried to steal Olympus players. And we don't intend to steal Olympus players.

I am ready to bury this in the dust here and now and forever. Is olympus willing to have a giant interclan tournament and agree to 1) bury the hatchet and 2) agree not to argue publicly, but to keep disputes internal through the mail system? This unnecessary drama hurts both our clans. My hand is outreached with an olive branch. I hope you agree to take it.
